With an all-out effort, Alzaga FC's Pastor Valery threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leon Goretzka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ovidio Bautista succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Alzaga FC's zone, Miguel Diagur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arcadio Buendia came out of the goal and Miguel Diagur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Goretzka in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pang Si Yan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Pang Si Yan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Leon Goretzka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pastor Valery. Leon Goretzka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Albano Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Capdevilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The Capdevilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Capdevilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The audience was convinced that Robert Rutkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Valery was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Robert Rutkowski sped through Capdevilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pastor Valery. Alzaga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
