The Húsares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Florencio Ferran struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vicente Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Húsares. The referee ignored Húsares's protests and gave Tomás Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Chinto. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Candido Ted got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The Húsares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigre's goalkeeper Vicente Eyague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Ubaldo Kismi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Eyague quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Ferran made a kick off. Florencio Ferran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Eyague came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Ferran slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 51st minute. Florencio Ferran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Húsares's Florencio Ferran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Eyague. That made the score 1-4 after 58 minutes of play. Tigre's Leonel Iratzeder was substituted for Alto Monø. Tigre made a substitution. Jorge Cachorro replaced Osvaldo Geofredo. Vicente Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Ferran in the 63rd minute of the match. Vicente Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Ferran, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
