Emilian Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Mark's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Zhao Ran Ming made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Luciano Victoro sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute, Wellington Aranzazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Mark came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zhao Ran Ming made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Victoro in the 17th minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Mark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Martinez was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Jeremias Mark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilian Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeremias Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Jeremias Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Medievales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Kaplan defense, Jeremias Mark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilian Martinez. The Kaplan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilian Martinez should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Jeremias Mark notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kaplan's Emilian Martinez. Emilian Martinez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Victoro came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Chrobak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Tomas Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremias Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Sazon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilian Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Diego Armando Santirso made the kick off in the second half. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Santirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Mark in the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jeremías Tindall took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Emilian Martinez to make any attempt to save it. Kaplan's Damião Granja was substituted for Luciano Victoro. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Medievales's Jeremias Mark slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilian Martinez. That made the score 0-5 after 70 minutes of play. Deportivo Medievales's Zhao Ran Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Santirso in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's goal looked a bit too open when 任志克 came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaplan were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Deportivo Medievales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 任志克 took the corner. Kaplan's 任志克 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zhao Ran Ming in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeremias Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Medievales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Aranzazu to maneuver through the defense. When Diego Armando Santirso came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kaplan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Armando Santirso couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Medievales eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
