The corner led to Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Torjus Rønneberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Teobald Chrobak hit a great ball. Emilian Martinez was a little too slow when Carolo Goito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Diego Armando Santirso made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Marco Veto got control of the ball when Luciano Victoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilian Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Rocky Balboa F.C. were awarded a corner. Olgierd Jazwiec went to the cornerflag to take it. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Omar Theobald was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilian Martinez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Rocky Balboa F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Omar Theobald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Furlan in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaplan made a substitution. Damião Granja replaced Luciano Victoro. In the 61st minute of the match Rocky Balboa F.C. got a corner. Kaplan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olgierd Jazwiec ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olgierd Jazwiec made a great header on Rocky Balboa F.C.'s corner, it was just that Kaplan's Emilian Martinez managed to reach the ball for a save. Oscar Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. The supporters of Rocky Balboa F.C. booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Chrobak. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Kaplan's Damião Granja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Veto. Marco Veto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Dionisio Rosalio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Martinez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Jazwiec in the 85th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaplan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
