In the 27th minute of the match Deportivo Medievales got a corner. Halyczyna FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Sazon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deportivo Medievales's Tomas Sazon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvestre Eli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Medievales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Paskal was slow to take the kick. During this time Halyczyna FK's players had a chance to rest. Silvestre Eli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Mark's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Silvestre Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Celso Argenis in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Medievales's Tomas Sazon. Jeremias Mark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Jeremias Mark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Eli. Halyczyna FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Mark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Mark made a kick off. Deportivo Medievales's Jeremías Tindall managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celso Argenis in the 59 minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Jeremias Mark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvestre Eli. The goal made the score 1-5. Deportivo Medievales made a substitution. Eleuterio Ovando replaced Carlos Frisco. Deportivo Medievales's attentive Tomas Sazon managed to snatch the ball when Celso Argenis made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After having played for 72 minutes, Jeremias Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Medievales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Venancio Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halyczyna FK's Kerkyon Pantelakos was substituted for Venancio Jago. Francisco Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Duardo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhao Ran Ming saved Deportivo Medievales from getting behind. Silvestre Eli was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Jeremias Mark capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Mark really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Halyczyna FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. Silvestre Eli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jeremias Mark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Deportivo Medievales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Halyczyna FK throughout the match.
