Patricio Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Garaile in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Deportivo Chivilcoy were awarded a corner. Casimiro Pirro went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Rosalio in the 16th minute of play forced Deportivo Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Paulino Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Bernardo Rosalio sped through Deportivo Chivilcoy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulino Sindo.
