But to his dismay, Andrew Dalli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paulino Sindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Banegas's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Paulino Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Dalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Andrew Dalli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Sindo. Andrew Dalli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Godfredo Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Sindo was a little too slow when David Banegas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, David Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeralda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Chivilcoy's Paulino Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalli in the 34th minute of play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Andrew Dalli from a close distance when the talented Paulino Sindo managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Chivilcoy's players were relieved. In the 39th minute Andrew Dalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfü Sungur got free with Paulino Sindo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Dalli in the 44th minute of play forced Deportivo Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Paulino Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Andrew Dalli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Chivilcoy's Paulino Sindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zülfü Sungur took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Sindo. Paulino Sindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 57 minutes, Alfonso Bikendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Chivilcoy and the Esmeralda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Chivilcoy getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alfonso Bikendi hit a great ball. Paulino Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 59th minute of the match. Paulino Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Sindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deportivo Chivilcoy's Alfonso Bikendi got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Alfonso Bikendi off the ground. After 67 played minutes Deportivo Chivilcoy got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Bikendi. Paulino Sindo came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas. But to his dismay, David Banegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Chivilcoy's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Banegas in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Sindo saved Deportivo Chivilcoy from getting behind. Jorge Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esmeralda AFC made a substitution. Nicasio Fonda replaced David Banegas. Esmeralda AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
