Breno Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Segundo Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Scotland 1873's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Oliviero came free, but Breno Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Uxio. 17 minutes into the game, Tobias Uxio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Breno Bastos. Tobias Uxio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Scotland 1873 booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Oro got free with Breno Bastos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Israel Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Nippur de Lagash 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Oliviero couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Arixo came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Casimiro Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Segundo Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Gonzo in the 44th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The Nippur de Lagash 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tito Chayo should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Breno Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Scotland 1873's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Oro came free, but Breno Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Israel Oliviero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Bastos. Scotland 1873's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Cordarell in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hernan Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gonzo came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nippur de Lagash 2 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Scotland 1873 for a fine match.
