With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fonso Garzona in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Hanni saved Te Pito o Te Henua from getting behind. Candido Hanni came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaboto FC's Rudolf Bank. But to his dismay, Rudolf Bank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Frechoso Peruyera came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gaboto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frechoso Peruyera couldn't finish the play. Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Bank in the 18th minute of play. Gaboto FC's Abelardo Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Gaboto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Jimeno Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Bidari in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gaboto FC booed when Te Pito o Te Henua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Te Pito o Te Henua's Silvestre Fanuco got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jimeno Bidari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Abelardo Selatse made a huge save. Fonso Garzona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Hanni having to interfere. Candido Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fonso Garzona, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Frechoso Peruyera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Frechoso Peruyera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frechoso Peruyera, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Frechoso Peruyera scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Hanni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Bidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frechoso Peruyera in the 62nd minute of play. Frechoso Peruyera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Hanni having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Aquilino Joey threw the ball into play from the sideline. Te Pito o Te Henua's Marciano Lope quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 68th play minutes Fonso Garzona shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Candido Hanni and just under the crossbar into goal. The throw-in from Aquilino Joey in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Te Pito o Te Henua's Marciano Lope. Abelardo Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Joey made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rudolf Bank however managed to control. With his leg Candido Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Gaboto FC's Fonso Garzona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fonso Garzona got free with Candido Hanni in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fonso Garzona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Candido Hanni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Candido Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Gaboto FC's Fonso Garzona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fonso Garzona's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Candido Hanni firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Gaboto FC's Frechoso Peruyera in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 minutes Te Pito o Te Henua's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Fertus who took care of the corner kick. Marcelino Cordarell tried in the 88th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Candido Hanni a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-5. In the 91st minute, Aquilino Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Te Pito o Te Henua's Marciano Lope got a free kick in the 95th minute. Fonso Garzona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Candido Hanni made a huge save. The Gaboto FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gaboto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
