Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jailson Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenes Castilla in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Teofilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pepe Santoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Lopez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Independiente made a substitution. Emánuel Borsó replaced Ainar Põld.
