After 11 played minutes Diablos Rojos FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Guipuzkoa. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Diablos Rojos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo De Francesco was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Margarita's players had a chance to rest. Andréas Hasselqvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 16th minute, Enzo Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Lordi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Orkatz. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Witomir Pisarczyk fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Orkatz having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Santa Margarita's Jonathan Orkatz threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Witomir Pisarczyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Jonathan Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Pisarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Diablos Rojos FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ronnie McCrimmor hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Lordi to make the kick off. If Roman Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Diablos Rojos FC's zone, Gerardo Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Orkatz came out of the goal and Gerardo Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andréas Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lordi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Orkatz saved Diablos Rojos FC from getting behind. Prospero Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jonathan Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 60th minute of play. The Santa Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gerardo Lordi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Orkatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. Jonathan Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by David Celio. In the 78th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Celio to maneuver through the defense. When Santa Margarita's Elmo Jaanovits in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diablos Rojos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Schivy in the 84th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Diablos Rojos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie McCrimmor. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Margarita from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Elmo Jaanovits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Elmo Jaanovits might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Orkatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elmo Jaanovits ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmo Jaanovits in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santa Margarita had won after a very even match.
