Severo Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jorge Havier made a huge save. Severo Urbes came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Havier could save by the left post. Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Oalo in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Betelgeux FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Martxelin. After 21 played minutes Betelgeux FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Rainerio. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Gora in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Gora in the 26th minute of play forced Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teobaldo Gonza fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Betelgeux FC's protests and gave Teobaldo Gonza a yellow card for diving instead. Teobaldo Gonza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Augusto Oalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jorge Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Sixto Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48th play minutes Aureliano Gora shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Atila Edu and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Aureliano Gora made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Riquelme Fútbol Club defense, Aureliano Gora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atila Edu. The Riquelme Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atila Edu should have stopped the shot. Atila Edu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Hustaz in the 58th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Atila Edu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 61st match minute, Betelgeux FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Betelgeux FC's Silvio Luzaide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atila Edu. Atila Edu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Betelgeux FC's Paulo Savion was substituted for Cornelio Olo. In the 77th minute, Silvio Luzaide made a precise shot to the right of Atila Edu. Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Luzaide got free with Atila Edu in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Augusto Oalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Havier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Betelgeux FC's Raul Celino was substituted for Aureliano Gora. Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Salvi in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Savion in the 96th minute of play forced Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Betelgeux FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
