Felix Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Aznar in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inautzi Quesada kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Felix Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Paes in the 17th minute of play. Felix Frasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Elequemedo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The throw-in from Inautzi Quesada in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barrialito AFC's Igor Tomporowski. Gogo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Alexandros Peropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Peropoulos in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Defensores de Mar de Ajó defense, Alexandros Peropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kleopas Plouffe. The Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kleopas Plouffe should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrialito AFC's Conrado Txordon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kleopas Plouffe. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Barrialito AFC's Felix Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Romildo in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Paes in the 40th minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Felix Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Paes came free, but Felix Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gogo Elequemedo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gogo Elequemedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Felix Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Romildo in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barrialito AFC defense, Cesar Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Frasco. The Barrialito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Frasco should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Romildo in the 62nd minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Felix Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrialito AFC made a substitution. Pedro Salvino replaced Cecilio Rosio. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. David Best hit a great ball. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Peropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Feng hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat was substituted for Alexandros Peropoulos. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Placido Llanos was substituted for Sebastião Paes. After recieving a nice pass, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Inautzi Quesada tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Aquiles Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cesar Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Frasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Beat, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kleopas Plouffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Defensores de Mar de Ajó's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
