Cristian Ronaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Cilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Ronaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Americo Cilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abi Schrape went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Abi Schrape ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Cilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 16 minutes into the match, Colón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ronaldo came free, but Americo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Colón FC defense, Abi Schrape kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Cilio. The Colón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Cilio should have stopped the shot. Remigiusz Bubczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Americo Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Colón FC defense, Abi Schrape kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Cilio. The Colón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Cilio should have stopped the shot. Remigiusz Bubczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Americo Cilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Konurbano Atletico made a substitution. Severiano Tiadoro replaced Remigiusz Bubczyk. Americo Cilio made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Severiano Tiadoro sent off a good shot on target. Maximino Terciero went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Ronaldo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Americo Cilio made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Andrzej Charamut sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Isidro Canor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konurbano Atletico the free kick. Colón FC's Americo Cilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Colón FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Konurbano Atletico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colón FC.
