Zarate unidos's Anselmo Piorno was substituted for Marco Cristofor. Bernardino Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Hedkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincent Dranka got free with Cirilo Bernard in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ben Francis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
