The audience was convinced that Aristides Villanueva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Urritz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When Silverio Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canalla Fuego's protests and gave Silverio Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. When Canalla Fuego's Aristides Villanueva in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kzator's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute Freddy Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Canalla Fuego's zone, Rene Berto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Benvido came out of the goal and Rene Berto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Egoi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Clemente Benvido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radislav Perendija in the 20th minute. A collision led to Kzator getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rene Berto hit a great ball. Kzator's Baltasar Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Kalischer in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kzator's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Villanueva came free, but Baltasar Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Paraíba in the 33rd minute of play forced Kzator's goalkeeper Baltasar Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes in the game, Ricky Kalischer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Baltasar Urritz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Canalla Fuego's Ricky Kalischer. But to his dismay, Ricky Kalischer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 40th match minute, Canalla Fuego was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Aristides Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalla Fuego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kzator players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canalla Fuego were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Kalischer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricky Kalischer got free with Baltasar Urritz in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltasar Urritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Aimar in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Freddy Montxo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido. Clemente Benvido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Freddy Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kzator's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Freddy Montxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kzator fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, Kzator's Baltasar Urritz got control of the ball when Carlos Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Kzator's Freddy Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Kzator were awarded a corner. Jacinto Papo went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ricky Kalischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Kzator's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Kalischer came free, but Baltasar Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jonatan Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Benvido came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Kzator's Rene Berto. But to his dismay, Rene Berto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Canalla Fuego's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
