The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Haitz got free with Jimeno Quico in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Frutos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Alexei's Arnoldo Quexal. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Quexal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Haitz got free with Jimeno Quico in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Frutos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alexei's Guido Ibon got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Casimiro Gabrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Bienvenido Lejosne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexei and the Argentino de Merlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Alexei got a freekick which was hit by Bienvenido Lejosne. Angelo Frisco got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jimeno Quico handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Atilano Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentino de Merlo's protests and gave Atilano Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Quexal made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alexei's Maximiliano Ixaka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Alexei's Denis Raymundo got a free kick in the 57th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Argentino de Merlo's Santos Haitz tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Alexei got a freekick which was hit by Denis Raymundo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Raymundo during the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Alexei defense, Angelo Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Quico. The Alexei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Quico should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Alexei's Maximiliano Ixaka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Frutos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Argentino de Merlo's zone, Casimiro Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Frutos came out of the goal and Casimiro Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentino de Merlo had won after a very even match.
