After a defensive mix-up in Stronghold S.A's zone, Everardo Gaizko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manel Villa came out of the goal and Everardo Gaizko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Amilcar Gomez came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes C.A. LANUS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerben Deitmers who took care of the corner kick. C.A. LANUS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
