An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 9th minute of play forced Lennep FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Amilcar Gomez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Lon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Amilcar Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Lon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amilcar Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amilcar Gomez in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Lon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Amilcar Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Eliseo Herena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Lon. Lennep FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Herena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
