The Stronghold S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manel Villa should have stopped the shot. Remigio Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amilcar Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Amilcar Gomez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Bento having to make a save. Carlos Fernendo hit a great ball. Godfredo Bento made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Amilcar Gomez sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Elivareo came free, but Manel Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manel Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Bembe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Anier Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manel Villa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Stronghold S.A's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
