Rodolfo Calvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Oso's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Academia de Campeones defense, Albino Oso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Calvet. The Academia de Campeones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Calvet should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Braulio Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kermit Froggaard. After 27 minutes of play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Calvet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Academia de Campeones's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Bidun came free, but Rodolfo Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Kermit Froggaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Iraitz charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Iraitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Agustin Bidun made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Havertz in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, Academia de Campeones's Kermit Froggaard made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Lordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Bidun in the 72nd minute of the match. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gaizko in the 78th minute of play. Rodolfo Calvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Bidun's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Braulio Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Gambier in the 80th minute of the match.
