Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Capillitas's Uriel Cristofor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Academia de Campeones got a freekick which was hit by Kai Havertz. 6 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Ospetsu came free, but Aurelio Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capillitas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Bernaldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia de Campeones's players had a chance to rest. 9 minutes into the match, Academia de Campeones's Kai Havertz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Fernado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kermit Froggaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Capillitas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Bernaldo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Academia de Campeones's corner Fabian Bernaldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Fernado quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Cefero during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Kai Havertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Capillitas's Rodolfo Calvet threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Uriel Cristofor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Capillitas's Aurelio Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ospetsu in the 43rd minute of play. Aurelio Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kai Havertz to make the kick off. Luciano Ospetsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Fernado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Ospetsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Academia de Campeones's Kai Havertz in the 53rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aurelio Fernado was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Capillitas through an amazing save. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capillitas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Bernaldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia de Campeones's players had a chance to rest. Silverio Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Mikelar in the 60th minute of play. Silverio Iraitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Cristofor in the 64th minute of play forced Academia de Campeones's goalkeeper Rodolfo Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Capillitas were awarded a corner. Fernan Chorche went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fernan Chorche got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodolfo Calvet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Uriel Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Sandalio made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernan Chorche however managed to control. Ciriaco Sandalio made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Academia de Campeones's Gustavo de Azevedo. When Ciriaco Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capillitas's protests and gave Ciriaco Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Academia de Campeones booed when Capillitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capillitas's Aurelio Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Capillitas from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Fernado made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luciano Ospetsu sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Capillitas defense, Luciano Ospetsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Fernado. The Capillitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Fernado should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Mikelar in the 94th minute of the match. If Kai Havertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
