After 6 minutes of play, Cepicó FC's Marek Haszczak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Urtzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marek Haszczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Cepicó FC got a corner. Megafowler F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Canor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Igor Canor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cleto Urtzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marek Haszczak scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Urtzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Americo Raitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cepicó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Raitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Haszczak in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Urtzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cepicó FC booed when Megafowler F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cepicó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Canor in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Igor Canor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Megafowler F.C.'s Cleto Urtzi did a great save. Megafowler F.C.'s Cleto Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Haszczak in the 28th minute of play. Amadeo Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Beat in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Megafowler F.C.'s goalkeeper Cleto Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Marek Haszczak sped through Megafowler F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleto Urtzi. In the 41st minute, Marek Haszczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cepicó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 45th minute Marek Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Megafowler F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cepicó FC were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Marek Haszczak made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Megafowler F.C. booed when Cepicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Urtzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Haszczak's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Cepicó FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Megafowler F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Canor took the corner. The corner led Cepicó FC's Teofilo Montez to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Urtzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Teofilo Montez had several of the Megafowler F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Cleto Urtzi as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Megafowler F.C.! Americo Raitin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cleto Urtzi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cleto Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Haszczak in the 70th minute of play. Cleto Urtzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Haszczak in the 72nd minute. Justo Mannuel scored 0-7 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Urtzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cepicó FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cepicó FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
