Chen Peng Bin took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moise Latarețu. Moise Latarețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Chen Peng Bin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moise Latarețu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Moise Latarețu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Peng Bin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Moise Latarețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Peng Bin in the 17th minute of the match. Chen Peng Bin took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moise Latarețu. Moise Latarețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogue's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Peng Bin came free, but Moise Latarețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Hökkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Peng Bin in the 28th minute of play forced Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Moise Latarețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Chen Peng Bin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Latarețu was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Chen Peng Bin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moise Latarețu. Brown de Adrogue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chen Peng Bin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chen Peng Bin couldn't finish the play. After the first half Luganeros AFC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luganeros AFC's Artemio Argoitz was substituted for Gary Bale. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Argoitz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Moise Latarețu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Argoitz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Argoitz got free with Moise Latarețu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moise Latarețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute Rey Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Latarețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Argoitz struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Moise Latarețu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. Moise Latarețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Nicasio Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Artemio Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Latarețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
