Baldomero Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Alens Berķis put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cervantes F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Quemeros's Isidro Silban got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fausto Kemen. In the 38th minute, Anastasio Berriotxoa made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Opilano. Quemeros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Baldomero Opilano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Rojelio in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quemeros's Eustaquio Montez got a free kick in the 44th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rojelio came free, but Baldomero Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Rojelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quemeros's Baldomero Opilano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Berriotxoa in the 67th minute of play. When Antonio Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quemeros's protests and gave Antonio Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quemeros getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Antonio Gimenez hit a great ball. Cervantes F.C. made a substitution. Aurelio Bartuelo replaced Anastasio Berriotxoa. After a rather tough play, Quemeros's Antonio Gimenez got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hipolito Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Aurelio Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Cervantes F.C.'s Baldomero Opilano threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel Rojelio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Celedonio Gomez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Bartuelo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Opilano saved Quemeros from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Apolo Mincho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomero Opilano, passed just outside the right post. Baldomero Opilano was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Aurelio Bartuelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Bartuelo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Cervantes F.C. played a much better game than Quemeros and deserved their victory. The Quemeros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
