Rodrigo Massó was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Peli to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Eguzki came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Selatse could save by the left post. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Massó. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 30th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 35th minute of the match. Teobaldo Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Orlan. After having played for 44 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Basualdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Basualdo to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Arturo Arano. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Czeslaw Kopacz replaced Ancho Branca. 58 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. If Pastor Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When PLUMIN's Higinio Eguzki in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Massó. Rodrigo Massó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. PLUMIN made a substitution. Simon Ferrer replaced Cirilo Salvino. After 80 minutes of play, PLUMIN's Bartolo Basualdo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Selatse was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Bürger in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ferrer in the 86th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Kopacz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Massó, 1-5. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Despidida AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Despidida AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
