After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gregorio Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. AID's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Enekoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Gregorio Gonsalve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AID fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gregorio Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Enekoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of AID booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match AID got a corner. Terapia Intensiva's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Maties ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serafino Maties made a great header on AID's corner, it was just that Terapia Intensiva's Guaberto Enekoitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Raimundo Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Ubarna in the 26th minute of the match. Oscar Ubarna took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Jaume. Raimundo Jaume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gregorio Gonsalve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Enekoitz having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Gregorio Gonsalve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Enekoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Guaberto Enekoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Gonsalve came free, but Guaberto Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Fernando Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes, Terapia Intensiva's Oscar Ubarna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimundo Jaume came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Terapia Intensiva reached it. Fernando Naldo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Gonsalve made a kick off. If Gregorio Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Terapia Intensiva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Gregorio Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Guaberto Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AID. 61 minutes into the game, Raul Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terapia Intensiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AID the free kick. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Gonsalve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Enekoitz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Gonsalve couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Enekoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Gonsalve went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Froilan Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Enekoitz having to interfere. Agustin Nuxila hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Santana to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Maties took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guaberto Enekoitz. Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Gonsalve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Enekoitz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Oscar Ubarna got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Terapia Intensiva's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
