When Candido Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar's protests and gave Candido Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Aguilera hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Bernardo Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalessin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Romeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalessin's Arsenio Urdin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pilar. In the 18th match minute, Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Rey to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Tavio. Kalessin's Bernardo Romeo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Romeo came free, but Lorenzo Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Luke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Heli in the 33rd minute of play forced Pilar's goalkeeper Lorenzo Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Xiong Han in the 41st minute of the match. Leonel Hunfredo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Hurko. Lorenzo Hurko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 48 minutes into the match, Bernardo Romeo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Hurko. Pilar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Romeo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Luke to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zhao Xiong Han came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kalessin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Xiong Han couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Lorenzo Hurko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Luke during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kalessin booed when Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez was substituted for Bernardo Romeo. In the 59th minute, Omar Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Hurko made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Arsenio Urdin sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Aguilera in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Luke to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Hunfredo in the 66th minute of the match. Lorenzo Hurko made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Zhao Xiong Han sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Hurko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Xiong Han in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Zhao Xiong Han took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Lorenzo Hurko to make any attempt to save it. Omar Rey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Lautaro Suárez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lorenzo Hurko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leonel Hunfredo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Hurko. Lorenzo Hurko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Ladislao Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Conrao to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Kalessin's Leonel Hunfredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Kalessin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
