In the 39th minute of the match Apocalípticos & Caóticos got a corner. East Tokyo United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ali Çağrı Şehzat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ali Çağrı Şehzat made a great header on Apocalípticos & Caóticos's corner, it was just that East Tokyo United's Marcelo Toribio managed to reach the ball for a save. After 53 played minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Henskens. If Rivaldo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. After 61 played minutes East Tokyo United got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Levința. East Tokyo United's Marcelo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Taurino in the 75th minute of play. Fernando Gamus struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marcelo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apocalípticos & Caóticos. Fernando Gamus took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Toribio. Marcelo Toribio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Herbert Henskens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
