In the 3rd minute, TotoRACING's Jarbas Queirós seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jarbas Queirós the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TotoRACING protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jarbas Queirós had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 2nd minute, one of TotoRACING:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TotoRACING. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for san isidro. Gösta Kihlberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nataniel de la Rosa. 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, san isidro's Edgard Fonda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nataniel de la Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, TotoRACING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Alabern to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Generoso Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes TotoRACING got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Domaracki. 29 minutes into the match, TotoRACING's Cesar Macario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmar Vermudo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 minutes san isidro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herminio Etxahun who took care of the corner kick. If Godfredo Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Herminio Etxahun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TotoRACING's Nataniel de la Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Fonda in the 39th minute of play. Edgard Fonda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nataniel de la Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes san isidro got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Chorache. Gösta Kihlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nataniel de la Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Cordera to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cesar Macario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Vermudo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Edgard Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, san isidro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Fonda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Nataniel de la Rosa made a huge save. A collision led to san isidro getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lino Guerau hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Romulo Balasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. san isidro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TotoRACING the free kick. Romulo Balasi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, TotoRACING's goalkeeper Nataniel de la Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Fonda. In the 77thth minute of the game Edgard Fonda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TotoRACING's Nataniel de la Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Fonda took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nataniel de la Rosa. Nataniel de la Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Fonda got free with Nataniel de la Rosa in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although TotoRACING had been in control for most of the match, san isidro still came away with the win.
