Arnulfo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Mirga in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Bernardino Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Albuquerque. Medanito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 20th minute Godfredo Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Bernad in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Medanito got a corner. Laurita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Gagriel ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Godfredo Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Vargas got free with Marcel Albuquerque in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Bernardino Ofelio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Medanito's Marcel Albuquerque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Vargass short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Marcel Albuquerque to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Laurita FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabian Manni hit a great ball. A collision led to Medanito getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jaime Gagriel hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfredo Bernad made a kick off. After 54th play minutes Bernardino Ofelio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Marcel Albuquerque and just under the crossbar into goal. Laurita FC's Narciso Vargas managed to work through Medanito's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Narciso Vargas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Laurita FC's Mario Alberto Kempes was substituted for Šair Lupin. The Laurita FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Laurita FC's Bernardino Ofelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the game, Narciso Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcel Albuquerque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Medanito booed when Laurita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esa Garcha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Vargas in the 71st minute of play. Marcel Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rudolfo in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Miguel Rudolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medanito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Marcel Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Narciso Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Albuquerque. Medanito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 83 minutes into the match, Medanito's goal looked a bit too open when Chi-Chi Legay came free, but Marcel Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laurita FC fully deserved thier win.
