Everardo Joey was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardiff City FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Julian Efraim managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Luis Iban from a close distance when the talented Xencio Millan managed to make a qualified save. Cardiff City FC's players were relieved. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Efraim in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Ferran in the 32nd minute of play forced Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Efraim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The supporters of Cardiff City FC booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Demario didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Efraim made a kick off. Xencio Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Iban's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Ferran in the 55th minute of play forced Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Efraim got free with Mickael Wuyts in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Efraim in the 60th minute of play. Julian Efraim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Mickael Wuyts made a huge save. If Julian Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cardiff City FC made a substitution. Ovidiu Radovan replaced Nunez Larra. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahía é Carnaval's Vinicio Florin was substituted for Marciano Ferran. Julian Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Efraim in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Tello to maneuver through the defense. Luis Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
