Florencio Monico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Chorache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Chelforó booed when ♦Diabetes♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ♦Diabetes♦'s Carolo Stephen in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chelforó's Prudencio Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Stephen in the 37th minute of play. The throw-in from Tobias Pinto in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ♦Diabetes♦'s Isaltino Barral. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Carolo Stephen made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Stephen in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Savier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Carolo Stephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Savier was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute ♦Diabetes♦ were awarded a corner. Daniel Björk went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosme Gilen replaced Maurinho Senna. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Ronaldinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Savier. That made the score 0-1 in the 74 minute of play. Cristiano Ronaldinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Prudencio Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Cristiano Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Ronaldinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Savier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
