Divorciados FC's Beat Kellenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DON CARMELO IV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigio Quentin in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Nereo Goito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión did a great save. After having played for 8 minutes, Salvador Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DON CARMELO IV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benedykt Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Eugenio Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Beat Kellenberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Eder was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Divorciados FC's Beat Kellenberger managed to work through DON CARMELO IV's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Beat Kellenberger dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Beat Kellenberger came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Divorciados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beat Kellenberger couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Centurión showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nereo Goito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezequiel Centurión came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Goito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Victorio Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Benedykt Poling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Eder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Otsoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Eder was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Nereo Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Otsoa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Eder saved DON CARMELO IV from getting behind. Beat Kellenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute of the match, Nereo Goito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ezequiel Centurión saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45thth minute of the game Fabricio Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DON CARMELO IV's Victorio Eder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Otsoa made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Quentin came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DON CARMELO IV's Victorio Eder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save DON CARMELO IV from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 52nd minute of play forced DON CARMELO IV's goalkeeper Victorio Eder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Quentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nereo Goito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Centurión having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Santos in the 68th minute of play forced Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Arturo Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beat Kellenberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, DON CARMELO IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Santos to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Havier made a great header on DON CARMELO IV's corner, it was just that Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión managed to reach the ball for a save. After 89 played minutes Divorciados FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Otsoa. Remigio Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, DON CARMELO IV's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Otsoa came free, but Victorio Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Salvador Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute of the match DON CARMELO IV got a corner. Divorciados FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigio Quentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Remigio Quentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ezequiel Centurión quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Divorciados FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
