In the 6th minute, Conrado Cambranes made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Savier. Chelforó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Florencio Monico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mickael Wuyts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Monico in the 14th minute of play. Florencio Monico struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mickael Wuyts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelforó. 28 minutes into the match, Florencio Monico notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts. Mickael Wuyts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Galdi. The audience was convinced that Florencio Monico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Domenico Galdi got a free kick in the 40th minute.

A collision led to Chelforó getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Tobias Pinto hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chelforó fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! 56 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Monico came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Florencio Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael Wuyts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelforó's Prudencio Savier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Chelforó from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Monico in the 70th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Domenico Galdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahía é Carnaval's Vinicio Florin was substituted for Marciano Ferran. When Prospero Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Prospero Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chelforó booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Iban in the 87th minute of play forced Chelforó's goalkeeper Prudencio Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Wuyts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Monico in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bahía é Carnaval defense, Florencio Monico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mickael Wuyts. The Bahía é Carnaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mickael Wuyts should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Chelforó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Sielens to maneuver through the defense. If Florencio Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelforó succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bahía é Carnaval had controlled the match.
