In the 2nd minute, one of Creer Para Ver:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Creer Para Ver. Creer Para Ver:s Gu Yuan showed great skill when he stopped Eulalio Errolan:s penalty. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Creer Para Ver's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Punta Alvear's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Eulalio Errolan advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Creer Para Ver's Silverio Lander got a free kick in the 8th minute. Gu Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Creer Para Ver's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Eleazar came free, but Gu Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Selatse in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Gopov to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Ermegildo Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Jacinto Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacinto Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Creer Para Ver's zone, Ermegildo Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gu Yuan came out of the goal and Ermegildo Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Heriberto in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gu Yuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Creer Para Ver getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Emanuel Selatse hit a great ball. Emanuel Gizon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 40th minute Jacinto Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Castro in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, César Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
The wind increased when César Castro made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gu Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Heriberto in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Creer Para Ver's goalkeeper Gu Yuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Eleazar. After 70 minutes, Domingo Cordarrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punta Alvear and the Creer Para Ver players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Creer Para Ver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Isidor to maneuver through the defense. Creer Para Ver's Cesar Urti was substituted for Silverio Lander. In the 77th match minute, Creer Para Ver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Isidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creer Para Ver's goalkeeper Gu Yuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Creer Para Ver got a freekick which was hit by Armando Mingo. Gu Yuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Frichoso in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Jacinto Eleazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gu Yuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, Creer Para Ver's goalkeeper Gu Yuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Frichoso. 88 minutes into the match, Jacinto Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gu Yuan. Creer Para Ver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Eleazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Creer Para Ver's Faustino Jesco was substituted for Petre Caramarin. When Inocencio Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Punta Alvear fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Frichoso couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Punta Alvear left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Creer Para Ver.
