Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Lauro Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Grigore Dijmărescu. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Moreira in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigore Dijmărescu saved ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ from getting behind. Grigore Dijmărescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauro Moreira's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Herman Arvidsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Dijmărescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Dijmărescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Chusca.
