The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Hodei hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ulises Millrick, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jimeno Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Cordarrol in the 13th minute of play. Interurbana F.C.'s Iker Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Donio in the 14th minute of play. Domingos Roderigo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Domingos Roderigo's late challenge caught a Interurbana F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Roderigo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo BENTOLO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Domingos Roderigo hit a great ball. Edelmiro Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Leonides Oihan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Garikoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Iker Lordi made a huge save. When Benigno Miro fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Interurbana F.C.'s protests and gave Benigno Miro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo BENTOLO booed when Interurbana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Delmar Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Sidro in the 35th minute of the match. Jimeno Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Deportivo BENTOLO got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Garikoitz. In the 40th minute, Leonides Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Garikoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Iratxo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Godfredo Cordarrol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Interurbana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Cordarrol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Cordarrol in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Fix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rafael Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Interurbana F.C.'s protests and gave Rafael Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Interurbana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Leonides Oihan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Interurbana F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Interurbana F.C. made a substitution. Florentino Suero replaced Dionisio Sarracino. Deportivo BENTOLO's Edelmiro Llorenc managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonides Oihan in the 78 minute of the game. When Leonides Oihan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Interurbana F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Oihan couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Fix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Cordarrol's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Interurbana F.C. made a substitution. Basilio Matro replaced Candido Gabrio. Deportivo BENTOLO's Jimeno Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Cordarrol in the 91st minute of play. Jimeno Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Interurbana F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo BENTOLO throughout the match.
