After some careless play in the Pereyra defense, Dino Grilli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Onbera. The Pereyra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Onbera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Castanheira in the 23rd minute of play forced Pereyra's goalkeeper Claudio Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Ixaka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Indartsu in the 31st minute. The supporters of Pereyra booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vipos FC were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Jokin was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Fidel Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Onbera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pereyra's Claudio Onbera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Pereyra from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Padro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Claudio Onbera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Jokin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Claudio Onbera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Castanheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Dino Grilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claudio Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Montes in the 94th minute of the match. Claudio Onbera was a little too slow when Dino Grilli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-10. When the match was over Vipos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pereyra throughout the match.
