Union Madereros's goalkeeper Ignacio Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Cecilio Ermano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Dep. Union Madereros's zone, Gerrit Struyf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Selatse came out of the goal and Gerrit Struyf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerrit Struyf went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerrit Struyf kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Selatse. That made the score 6-0 in the 21 minute of play. Ignacio Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit Struyf, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cecilio Ermano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ignacio Selatse made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as TALLERES CBA's Gerrit Struyf slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ignacio Selatse. That made the score 7-0 after 27 minutes of play. 32 minutes into the match, Cecilio Ermano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Selatse. Club Dep. Union Madereros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Ermano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Marco Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Colas made a kick off. The referee showed Omar Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TALLERES CBA getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Union Madereros from getting behind. Cecilio Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hermengildo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TALLERES CBA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
