When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Lisandro Cristos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lancelot Cambero. A collision led to TALLERES CBA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lorenzo Martxot hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Cristos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lancelot Cambero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchor Nuno hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Fabricio Checa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Itacaruaré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Checa couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES CBA's goalkeeper Marco Egoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 played minutes TALLERES CBA got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Breogan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Checa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Egoitz saved TALLERES CBA from getting behind. Marco Egoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Checa's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Lancelot Cambero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Itacaruaré from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit Struyf got free with Lancelot Cambero in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lancelot Cambero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cristos in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Itacaruaré made a substitution. Emilio Benitez replaced Cornelio Senio. Emilio Benitez came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Egoitz could save by the left post. Itacaruaré's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Lorenz in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Cristos in the 59th minute of play forced Itacaruaré's goalkeeper Lancelot Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lancelot Cambero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Struyf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Ermano came free, but Lancelot Cambero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TALLERES CBA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melchor Nuno in the 72nd minute. Cecilio Ermano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Calisto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabricio Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Egoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Checa in the 84th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Itacaruaré's corner Daniel Lorenz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Egoitz quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Cristos came free, but Lancelot Cambero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
