After 8 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ferrando. Fidel Ortzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute El Gallo de Moron were awarded a corner. Fidel Ortzi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led El Gallo de Moron's Fidel Ortzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Paolo Gimenez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paolo Gimenez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Ortzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Gerazan in the 36th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Hohenzollern in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes AgroVet United got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Padura. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Eneas made a kick off. The El Gallo de Moron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Mario Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ferdinand Hohenzollern managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gallo de Moron's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Hohenzollern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Gobillot made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Casimiro Eneas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of El Gallo de Moron booed when AgroVet United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position.
