Juan Carlos Olave made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Egun in the 7th minute. Bonifacio Mazuste might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Firmin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Mazuste ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to JERE F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcos Red hit a great ball. Danilo Vergaray charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Vergaray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the match, JERE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when John Fredriksson came free, but Juan Carlos Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Carlos Olave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Egun in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes TalleresUnited got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Padro. TalleresUnited made a substitution. Jesus Casado replaced Jesus Egun. After a rather tough play, TalleresUnited's Nemesio Padro got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Alfredo Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JERE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TalleresUnited the free kick. After 43 played minutes JERE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Maule. Juan Carlos Olave made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jesus Casado sent off a good shot on target. Juan Carlos Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, John Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Juan Carlos Olave. JERE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Mazuste was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, JERE F.C.'s Alfredo Maule got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Juan Carlos Olave stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Casado's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Jesus Casado came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the TalleresUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Casado couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, JERE F.C.'s Alfredo Maule got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, TalleresUnited's Jesus Casado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Olave was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind JERE F.C.'s goalkeeper Juan Carlos Olave, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Jesus Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Olave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TalleresUnited were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after JERE F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Abad took the corner. The corner ended in Felix Abad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JERE F.C.'s Juan Carlos Olave did a great save. Nestor Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's Jesus Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Olave narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the JERE F.C. defense, Jesus Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Carlos Olave. The JERE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Olave should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Jesus Casado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Olave. JERE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. TalleresUnited's Pablo Domeka was substituted for Felix Abad. TalleresUnited's Eustaquio Chago was substituted for Ivan Jacindo. Alfredo Maule got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Danilo Vergaray. A collision led to JERE F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Celedonio Maiorga hit a great ball. Bonifacio Mazuste's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Firmin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leonardo Manuelo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Jaunzuria in the 95th minute of play forced TalleresUnited's goalkeeper Nestor Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JERE F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
