Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Ekhi in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Caricancha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Amado Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Ekhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Caricancha got a corner. Avellaneda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Senio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caricancha's Teodosio Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alessandro López in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Ahlkvist came free, but Amado Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avellaneda FC's Alessandro López proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Avellaneda FC from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Kalemba came free, but Alessandro López reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Șerban Hizo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro López prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edgardo Silvanito made the kick off in the second half. Iker Ekhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Amado Gamus made a huge save. In the 51st minute, Avellaneda FC's Iker Ekhi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 53 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's Rickard Ahlkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Gamus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute Iker Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ekhi in the 61st minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Iker Ekhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caricancha's Amado Gamus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caricancha were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Avellaneda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Artaldo took the corner. Caricancha's Stathis Gisgakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alessandro López in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Pablo Václavek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Șerban Hizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avellaneda FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
