After 6 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Di Renzo. Jacinto Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Lisandro Nuñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacinto Kimetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Andronic got free with Dario Astigar in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Rafael Tiniebra got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Oscuro Diamante's Claes Danielsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dario Astigar. Dario Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nuñez in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Kimetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Kimetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match, Jose Senin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dario Astigar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 48th minute of play forced Oscuro Diamante's goalkeeper Jacinto Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

SAN LORENZO FC's Hernan Ixidor was substituted for Dalmacio Gaitano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Nuñez to make the kick off. Oscuro Diamante's Jacinto Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 57th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Oscuro Diamante's Jacinto Kimetz. Jacinto Kimetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lisandro Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Rudolfo in the 74th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscuro Diamante made a substitution. Frankie Farina replaced Augusto Maiorga. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Isaias Rosario replaced Ernie Siegel. In the 86th minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Kimetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriaco Cordarrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Kimetz. That made the score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Ciriaco Cordarrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Kimetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Cordarrell ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciriaco Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Kimetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 95 minutes, Ciriaco Cordarrell made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Oscuro Diamante's Jacinto Kimetz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Oscuro Diamante supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAN LORENZO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAN LORENZO FC.
