In the 11th minute, 史雄奕 made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Dantel. Valencia Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15th minute, Severo Dino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeronimo Dantel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ulrico Herzog's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fedele Albani firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Clementi in the 21st minute of play. Fedele Albani was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Felipe Inocente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Inocente really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 26th minute Lorenzo Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ulrico Herzog could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Fedele Albani however easily saved by the left post. Isidro Abella hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's George Hagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Albani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Hagi scored 3-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fedele Albani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fedele Albani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-3. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when George Hagi made the kick off in the second half. Ulrico Herzog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Albani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Hagi in the 55th minute of play forced River Gold's goalkeeper Fedele Albani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Dino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrico Herzog in the 58th minute of play forced River Gold's goalkeeper Fedele Albani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Dino in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Dantel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Dino in the 85th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of River Gold booed when Valencia Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Lorenzo Clementi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
