The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvino Tinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes El Fortín de Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Frances. In the 12th minute, Celso Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes El Fortín de Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Martinez. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Hats came free, but Carolo Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Floresta's Desiderio Brais got a free kick in the 26th minute.
