Benicio Martxelin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Faustino Rico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Cochrane FC's Faustino Rico got control of the ball when Benicio Martxelin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Markel. Faustino Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Markel in the 13th minute of play. Benicio Martxelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Inter de Urquiza's Tobias Markel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cochrane FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dario Cvitanich was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Urquiza's players had a chance to rest. Sverker Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Rico having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Faustino Rico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damian Demesio might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Marciewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Demesio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ulrich Haugbølle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Urquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrich Haugbølle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Demesio was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Markel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Haugbølle in the 57th minute of play forced Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Damian Demesio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksander Marciewicz. Damian Demesio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Markel in the 67th minute of play forced Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aleksander Marciewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Inter de Urquiza's Benicio Martxelin in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Damian Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Markel in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Inter de Urquiza's Ulrich Haugbølle made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Rico was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 95 minutes, Ulrich Haugbølle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Urquiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Haugbølle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inter de Urquiza's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
