Saverio Argina hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Cochrane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Touboulis came free, but Faustino Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Thanos Touboulis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Informaticos A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanos Touboulis couldn't finish the play. Gaston Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanos Touboulis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Saul Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Thanos Touboulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Rico was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanos Touboulis scored 1-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cochrane FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Apolo Eufemio in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Apolo Eufemio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaston Eleazar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Thanos Touboulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Los Informaticos A.C.'s Thanos Touboulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Rico. Faustino Rico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Faustino Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Touboulis in the 84th minute of play. Los Informaticos A.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patricia Bullrich in the 86th minute. Carlos Augusto Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Rico having to interfere.
