Alonzo Luzaide might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Favila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Luzaide ran back to his position shaking his head. Froilan Lluques charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Lluques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Grindelwald booed when Navia CSyD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Lluques didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Araoz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Favila saved Navia CSyD from getting behind. The Grindelwald fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Grindelwald's Baldomero Gonzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
